Members of the Retirees, Seniors and
Friends were hosted on a Black History Month bus tour to Riviera Beach, Florida. The Retirees,
Seniors & Friends is a travel
club that consists of African Americans from Dade County and Broward
County, Florida. The tour was sold-out with 61 members who are mostly retired professionals who had successful careers in
education, government, medicine and the military; and as small business owners.
Thursday, February 18, 2018 marked the
8th annual Black History Month tour for the group organized by the non-profit
Museum of Lifestyle & Fashion History.

Riviera Beach, Florida pre-dating its incorporation in 1922.
Previous Black History Month
tours for this African American travel club have gone to Delray Beach, Lake
Worth, Titusville, Sanford, Fort Pierce, Deerfield Beach and Belle
Glade, Florida.
